Introduzione

AN EFFICIENT METHOD TO IMPROVE QUALITY

Each diagnostic approach should be performed in accordance with strength quality  parameters in order to obtain a high standard of precision, accuracy and  repeatability of data.

In order to reach the goal in any analytical phase each laboratory operator has to select the analysis method suitable to the diagnostic matter, use the appropriate instrumentation, control the analytical phase with an internal quality program and examine the whole analytical process by taking part to an External Quality Program.

TARGET OF QUALITY SYSTEM

Quality System® uses a  statistical control  that allows to analyze all the differences giving rise to errors in an analytical phase. This examination is able to understand if this difference is within fixed limited imperfection. Laboratories should participate in a scheme at the recommended frequency to get the greatest benefit from it.   Reports and analysis of data include objective result

interpretation for decision making of a participating laboratory. The Quality System® and the internal quality control assessment system are crucial to continuous quality improvement in every  laboratory.

ACCREDITATION

  • ISO 9001:2008 Bio Group Medical System is accredited maintaining a quality management system and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of this International Standard;
  • Quality System® is international accredited by SQS and IQNET
  • Data submitted are statistically analyzed in collaboration with the University of  Urbino,  Italy, Medical Statistic Department.

STEPS

  • Each laboratory receives  samples  of different analytes with unknown concentration;  specimen with  a long expiry date are delivered once per year;
  • Operators have to  analyze  the sample and send the results by email filling up the appropriate form in the provided QS SOFTWARE;
  • Data will be statistically  elaborated  by the University of Urbino; Values of each laboratory will be compared between them, allowing to have informations about results , methods, instruments and reagents;

The laboratories will receive  reports easy to read and understand a graph combine the results from all participants in the survey.
